Nachiko was born in Tokyo, JAPAN. She grew up in Kamakura, and Osaka.

She then lived in Yokohama, which is in  Kanagawa Prefecture while studying in University. She now resides in Tokyo.

She started to learn swimming when she was 3 years old. She became a remarkable competitive swimmer in high school.

She joined a water polo team of Nippon Sports Science University, the most famous University for athletics. The water polo team of which Nachiko was the team leader won the Japan Champions League.

After graduating with a B.A. degree, Nachiko worked for a major fitness shoe company as a sales associate. While visiting many fitness clubs for her job, she developed a fascination for aqua fitness which has a lot of health benefits for various types of people.

She decided to switch her career from land to water. She enjoyed teaching a great many types of different classes all related to aquatics, such as Infant swimming, Kids swimming, Competitive swimming, Aqua dance, Aqua training, Walking in the water, AiChi and so on.

After several years she now successfully owns her own classes of Aqua-Exercise at many fitness clubs and the pools at public facilities in many different areas mainly in Tokyo. 

She also works as a personal  trainer for a wide range of people starting from Senior citizens and all the way up to professional national level athletes.
